I am a geek
I am a gamer girl. I play WOW. That is World of Warcraft for all of you less fortunate ones. I really don’t consider myself a gamer but I guess on some levels, I am. I have a guidebook. I do the quests. I like leveling. *ding* Hell I even have my two main toons in a guild.
I enjoy playing. It removes me from the real world sometimes. I get to kill stuff and cast spells on people. If I am feeling generous, I can even resurrect people. It makes me feel good. Everyone has their escape. Some of you get all engrossed in a book. Some people become couch potatoes for hours on end. I play WOW. Don’t give me crap. I am not one of those all consumed people. I don’t lie about my time online. Frankly, I don’t play nearly enough for my taste. My hub can even vouch for that. I don’t have a fancy keyboard, nor do I have a fancy headset.
Des plays too. He is actually my muscle in the game. He finds all the cool stuff then holds my hand while I stumble through it all. I have my own personal guide. It’s beyond cool. He reads all of the announcements and fills me in. In English. Tells me when I am faced with a huge update too. That way I start it on my way to bed so I don’t get pissed with being held up when its game time. Today, he just informed me that we have headless horsemen coming to fight with us for Halloween. Is it scary that we were both way excited and I have officially canceled class for that day so he and I can play? Heh.
Yep. I am a geek. Ciao.
PS – I typed this up ahead of time so I can get an hour of play time in before we have to go to classes. *skips off to Darnasus*

I have refrained from gaming, I won’t even play solitaire on my computer. I have enough to do already without having to get addicted to a game.

I love to play games – Sims, Sims2, and for the last year, Runescape. My mom (60 yrs old) has been playing for many years, and now me & my oldest play too. 3 generations in one world LOL It’s pretty neat and it’s my chance to escape once in a while too. I fully admit to being a geek too
